For Monday...

Please read Chapters 1-3 of George Orwell's Animal Farm.  Underline new words and write questions and comments in the margins.  In other words, annotate as you read!  We will start talking about the book on Monday.

Summer Reading Circles

Today, Friday September 10, we will form literature circles according to the summer books you chose.  We will begin to talk about the books, focusing on major themes and conflicts.  No homework for this weekend, but please bring your summer book to class each day next week.  If you attended Pontiac, I look forward to meeting you on Monday!
